Immigration is the response to a promise. In this series of sculptures with found objects, I examine the underlying promises we as a nation make to people of the world. Throughout our short but tumultous history, those promises were at times kept, at other times betrayed. It is our responsibilties to remember and faithfully keep them because they are the things that make us great.
